The Windy and Gryphi Bloggy.

Windy and Gryphi were wandering along the border between Windtopia and Gryphtopia, the respective homelands of Wind Riders and Gryphons. While they were walking, they saw two identical signs, one on each side of the border, advertising the need for new kings in each land. Gryphi looked at Windy, shrugged his shoulders, and said "hey, why don't we do that?" Windy thought it sounded like a good idea, and agreed that they should run for King. They each began to design their campaign strategies, but what they didn't know was that each of their homelands already had kings. The signs had been placed there by the people, who wanted both kings ousted from their thrones. Windy, Gryphi, and...coincidentally...both current kings, all decided the issue would be settled over two separate games of hang-man. The winner would be king, the loser would have to serve loyally under the king who wins the game.
Gryphi and the current kign of Gryphtopia began duking it out, hang-man style. Gryphi had an easy win against the now EX king of Gryphtopia, and proudly wore his new crown. Windy had a much longer, more drawn-out game with Windtopia's king, but won by a hair and donned his new crown.
Shippo came by to congratulate the bros on their new kingships, and gave them both hugs. Windy and Gryphi hugged him back, and welcomed him with open arms to both homelands.

Windy and Gryphi are SO happy that the new year has started! New Years Day is the bros' one day off during the entire year. They look forward to the day of relaxation and a break from their constant missions. While they were vegetating on this day of slumber, Shippo entered the room and excitedly begged the bros to play football with him. Windy and Gryphi calmly reminded Shippo that it was winter time, and they weren't real big on the whole "outside" thing. In his extreme disappointment, Shippo flipped out, hitting Windy in the face with a fly swatter, and chucking a basketball straight at Gryphi's stomach. This, as one might imagine, infuriated Windy and Gryphi. They looked at each other, and without a word, picked up Shippo and threw him out the window. Shippo yelled some vague threats from outside the house, and then disappeared.
"Some New Year's Day this has turned out to be," said Windy. "It may as well not even be a day off," Gryphi chimed in. All of a sudden, out of the far window, the bros noticed Shippo kicking a tree in the back yard. To their astonishment, the tree actually gave way and fell directly on Shippo. The bros ran outside as fast as they could to evaluate the situation. The tree had knocked Shippo unconscious, and was, amazingly, covering his entire body - head to toe. After notifying the emergency medical services, they decided they needed to remove the tree from atop their little adopted pride and joy. To do this, the god powers needed to come out to play. They basically didn't even have to do anything. They levitated the fallen lumber with naught but a stare, and pulled the small child out to safety.
At the hospital, after five days of waiting and wondering, Shippo finally woke up. Windy and Gryphi were ecstatic, and ran over to hug the their young lad. Shippo had other plans. Despite some mild to moderate atrophy in his muscles, he managed to punch both bros in the face so hard that each of them had to be admitted to the hospital as well. To them, it was just more relaxation. The hospital had some pretty decent food, some pretty comfy beds, and cable TV. This is what New Years is all about.

Gryphi was screaming at Windy to get out of the burning hut, but Windy was too fast asleep to hear him. There was no way Gryphi was going to actually go IN there, given his fear of the flames, but he continued to yell and scream until he managed to roust the slumbering Wind Rider. Finally, Windy walked out of the fire and, rubbing his eyes, apologized for falling asleep. As luck would have it, Wind Riders are impervious to fire, and Windy was unharmed. The same does not apply to Gryphon Hatchlings, which explains why Gryphi just sat outside screaming like a little girl while his bro laid sleeping in a burning building. As the bros headed back to the ship, they saw that it had departed the island without them! They realized that they must employ their god powers and build a ship of their own. Closing their eyes and slowly raising their hands and arms at their sides, they both exhibited a forceful, simultaneous CLAP that brought all the unburned wood on the island to their feet so that they may start crafting their craft. Ten minutes later, they were off, full sails ahead, back on track to Hawaii. Just another boring day in the life of Windy and Gryphi. Hopefully they'll find a little excitement on their trip.

Windy and Gryphi were on a cruise ship, having departed from the Gulf of Mexico and headed for Hawaii. They didn't want to use their wings and fly because they were on vacation, and wanted to relax. On midnight of the first night of their cruise, they were awaken by a sudden, loud crash. They got up to find that the ship had landed ashore of a strange island. The island was almost completely on fire. Windy was having a hard time getting Gryphi off the boat because he's deathly afraid of fire. Gryphi DID, however, take the time to reach and extremely long stick with a marshmallow on it over the ship and into the fire. After enjoying his marshmallow, Windy was finally able to get him off the boat and onto the island. They stayed in the unburned area and began exploring. After a short while, they stumbled upon a small hut that had not yet been touched by the fire. Windy and Gryphi decided to set up camp there, and get some rest. Gryphi started to feel a rumbly in his tumbly, and realized they didn't have any food. He told Wndy he was headed back to the ship to get some food. When he got back, he was horrified to see their little hut burning to the ground......with Windy inside!

Windy and Gryphi tried to run away, but the dragon threw crystal shards towards them which turned out to form yet another cage when they settled. They were now inside this crystal cage, and no amount of god powers could break it. As luck would have it, Windy's claws can release a poisonous blast of energy that can break crystal. Once they blew up the cage, they looked over and noticed that the dragon seemed to be saying something. As they crept closer, they could hear the dragon telling them they were free to go. He offered them each fifty pieces of gold in return for the bag of jewels the guys had filled, minus 20 crystals each. They hastily grabbed their loot and climbed up out of the cave. They looked back as they walked away, and saw a little waft of steam rising out of the hole........

Windy and Gryphi were playing and frolicking in a large, plain, grassy field. Windy playfully pushed Gryphi, but Gryphi didn't think it was funny. Gryphi pushed him back, and Windy didn't think THAT was funny. They started fighting and suddenly both fell through the ground into a deep, dark hole in the Earth. They were surprised to see that they were surrounded by heaps, piles, and walls of crystal. Windy and Gryphi realized they had fallen into some sort of cave. As luck would have it, the two always carried a large bag with them in case they needed to collect and carry anything. Windy and Gryphi had collected about half of the crystals in the cave in four hours. Fueled by Gryphi's addiction to jewels, they feverishly collected and bagged the crystals until the bag was completely full. Just as they were topping off the bag, they noticed steam rising from the far end of the cave. As they got to the end of the cave, they discovered a large dragon with crystal scales running from the top of his head all the way down his back to his tail. The dragon was "steaming" mad to see that he had visitors in his cave. Windy and Gryphi were quite surprised to see the crystal dragon, and they wanted to run.....but they couldn't. All they could do was stand there and stare in amazement, mouths wide open in shock and awe. The dragon captured Windy and Gryphi, confiscated their bag of jewels, and locked them in a cage right next to an extremely large bag of gold. Windy immediately started reaching through the bars of the cage, trying to get to the bag of gold. He couldn't quite reach it, so he used his god powers to move the bag closer to the cage. They found out pretty quickly that their god powers were useless for escaping the cage. They discussed the matter for a few moments, and decided to use their ULTIMATE god powers, blowing up the cage. They found the dragon standing right in front of them, snarling and blowing steam.

Windy, Gryphi and Shippo asked the stranger "why are you just giving it t us?" They were suspicious. The man told Gryphi, in Japanese, that the Japanese are a very generous people. Gryphi asked him "don't you want it for yourself?" The man explained again that he just wanted them to have it, and that they have much more use for it than he would. As the group made it back to northern Mexico via the teleporter, they found on the other side the army that had previously engaged them. They had a new leader that had not yet been slapped silly. Windy decided to change that, and slapped him as hard as he could, right across the face. As Windy's hand connected with the new leader's face, it felt like his hand had just shattered. The slap did not affect the new leader. The army advanced toward them and tried once again to take all of their golden wing pieces. Everyone realized all at once that Windy, Gryphi and Shippo were no longer in posession of the bag of wing pieces. They realized they must have accidentally left them in Japan.
When they returned through the teleporter to Tokyo, they saw the strange, jibberish-speaking man again. This time, he was dressed as he had been the FIRST time they met......when he robbed them in the woods of northern Mexico. Windy said "you thief! You stole our wing pieces!" The robber punched Windy in the stomach as hard as he could, and Windy passed out. Gryphi used his ultimate god power and zapped the robber, causing him to explode. Gryphi and Shippo tried to carry Windy and the bag of wing pieces back to the teleporter, but Windy had suddenly gained weight and was very hard to move. Once they got the suddenly-obese wind rider back through the teleporter to northern Mexico, they flagged down a taxi to take them to the hospital. The doctors said that Windy had hit his head hard when he fell to the ground after being punched in the stomach. He had a gash in his forehead, and the doctor explained that wind riders typically gain weight when they get hurt. The doctor gave Windy some x-rays and found that he had a broken rib. Windy was ordered to stay in the hospital for seven days.
When Windy got out of the hospital, he had a surprise waiting for him. Gryphi and Shippo had assembled all the wing pieces into their full wings. They had succeeded!

On the way to Japan, Windy and Gryphi noticed a strange sound getting closer. It sounded like a marching band....behind them, in front of them, surrounding them. It turned out to be an army battalion carrying a large flag with a golden wing on it. They stopped to talk to Windy, Gryphi, and Shippo, and told them that THEY were also on a mission to recover and collect all of the broken pieces of golden wings. While the first group of army fighters was talking to them, they found themselves distracted enough to fall victim to yet another robbery. Some of the group of soldiers behind them were trying to pick-pocket them for the wing pieces they had. Windy whirled around and slapped the leader of the army right across the face. Shippo climbed up on Gryphi's back, sprung off of him into a back flip and kicked another high-ranking soldier in the face. A piece of broken golden wing fell out from the bag that Gryphi was holding, and the leader of the army picked it up as Windy and Gryphi watched. When Windy and Gryphi noticed this happening, Windy slapped the army leader so hard that the piece flew out of his hand and conveniently into Gryphi's. The badly-slapped soldier flew through the air and never seemed to land. He was never seen or heard from again. The entire army saw the might that they were up against, and retreated in fear.
Windy, Gryphi and Shippo all headed back to where they were robbed the first time. They needed the teleporter that was used to send the wing to Japan after the robber stole it from them. They used the teleporter and arrived right outside of Tokyo. As they began their search, the first place they looked yielded nothing but a strange man sitting on a park bench speaking jibberish. The jibberish turned out to be Japanese language. Even though Windy and Gryphi didn't begin kindergarten until they were 25, somehow Gryphi was fluent in Japanese. Gryphi talked briefly with the man, and found out that he was the one who found the previously teleported wing. The man returned the wing to Windy and Gryphi as soon as everything was explained to him. They thought it seemed a little too easy, and became suspicioius. Something wasn't right........

WIndy and Gryphi used their god powers and turned all the red and orange wings into golden wings, but still were searching for many of the lost pieces of broken wings. Windy and Gryphi and Shippo all went to Canada, the nearest foreign place to search. Windy looked it up in a science book, and discovered that there was one piece of broken wing in each and every country in the world, each state in the U.S., and every province in Canada. The first Canadian province they decided to scour was Saskatchewan. They found their one piece of golden wing in Saskatchewan. By the end of the first day, they had found each and every piece in Canada. Being from Mexico, they decided to work their way south toward home, so they stopped in the United States on their way through and found all the pieces in each state. It took them two days to do all 50 states. On the way back down to Mexico, they fell asleep and took a long nap....while travelling on foot. A robber snuck out from behind a tree in Northern Mexico and jacked them for 14 pieces of their hard-found golden wings. It just happened to take 14 pieces to make an entire wing, so the robber assembled the wing and teleported it to Japan. At midnight, Shippo woke up and looked in the bag of wing pieces, and noticed there were some missing. He rousted Windy and Gryphi from their slumber to tell them about the missing pieces of golden wing. Windy and Gryphi were freaking out. They knew they must not only continue their worldwide search for the broken pieces of wing, but also recover the stolen wing that the robber had assembled and sent to Japan. This was going to make their mission even more difficult than they could ever imagine.

Windy found something golden in his treasure bucket. It was a golden wing. At first, Windy and Gryphi didn't know what it was, but they figured it out, and figured there must be more of it somewhere. They began their search for the golden wings. On the way, they met a child named Shippo and he had four golden wings. Shippo said that if Windy and Gryphi adopt him, he'll give them the golden wings. Windy and Gryphi thought that was just great, so they adopted him and got their four wings. Windy, Gryphi and Shippo were searching for more wings, when they saw a red glow coming from the bushes. It was a RED wing. They didn't know there were red wings AND golden wings! They combined the red wings and the golden wings to create sparkling orange wings. Suddenly Windy, Gryphi and Shippo looked puzzled. All three of them wondered aloud, "how many wings are there in existence?" Windy guessed that there must be at least 400. Windy looked it up in a science book and he was right!
A boulder crashed through the mountainside and demolished all of the wings, crushing them to bits. A secret teleporter in the mountain sent these bits all over the world. Windy and Gryphi were on a mission to recover each and every last piece of wing from the furthest reaches of the world. They knew it could be a battle......a battle for the golden wings.
